What's going on at Patching Pond?

SDNPA is aware that possibly illegal work is taking place at the Patching Pond site; the Enforcement Officer is liaising with the Environment Agency over this matter.

If anything needs reporting please email enforcement@southdowns.gov.uk. SDNPA are not asking anyone to actively monitor, watch the site, video or take photographs of any work taking place, though they cannot stop  residents from doing this.  But be aware that recently, a parishioner out walking took some photographs of activity at Patching Pond from the Arundel Road. Shortly afterwards he was assaulted and verbally abused. This has been reported to the police.
