Clapham and Patching Churches
We have been unable to hold services in church during this period of lock-down, but hope they will be able to resume on Sunday 6th December. Clapham Church is open for visitors and for quiet thoughts and prayer Thurs - Sun, 10am - 4pm. Patching Church is open daily 10am - 5pm. Please sanitise your hands and complete the track and trace register when you enter.

Lockdown means The Junction can't open
Sadly, there can be no Saturday coffee mornings outside The Junction for the duration of the current lockdown; the Table Craft Fayre will also have to be postponed,
Although the shop and cafe is not currently open, The Junction team, in cooperation with the Parish Council, are offering a service to supply essentials to residents of Clapham and Patching. You can contact them via the village WhatsApp (email Yvette or John and ask them to send you the link). Failing that, you can email or phone them 07803 074424 or 07753 662418.
They will try to source any products you need; they will order your goods and have them available for collection, or delivery should it be absolutely necessary, on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Angmering Village Greens are a local greengrocer, who will deliver orders over £15 for free within a 5 mile radius of Angmering.

Patching Parish Council are working to secure a better broadband speed for the parish.

What's going on at Patching Pond?
Many residents have expressed concern to the Parish Council about works being carried out at Patching Pond. SDNPA have investigated, and concluded that while tree felling was permitted, the dumping of soil and rubble was not.

Limetree Pharmacy to cease deliveries to Clapham
Limetree Pharmacy say they no longer have the capacity to deliver prescriptions to Clapham, which is a nuisance for those of us who can’t, or prefer not to, go out. However, you can get free deliveries from Lloyds Pharmacy’s ‘Echo’ service by signing up online.

Flowers (or baking) for Clapham Lodge
A rota has been set up for someone to deliver a bunch of flowers (or, if you don't have any flowers, something home-baked) to Clapham Lodge every Thursday, both to thank the heroes who work there and to cheer up the residents. Please contact Sally if you'd like to add your name to the list.

Libraries may currently be closed, but you can still access lots of services online. There are dedicated children's activities, home learning and wellbeing resources available, as well as eBooks and eAudio, plus newspapers, magazines and comics
