At the service at Clapham Church on 2nd February it was discovered that a pane in the vestry stained glass window had been smashed by a flint that was still wedged in place by the lead. The flint was too big and too high up to have been a stone flicked up by a mower - it can only have been thrown deliberately.

If you are walking up around our historic churches, please keep an eye out for anything unusual!
